allambee park, sandringham

Mamma loves an upgraded park!
Especially one as quiet and cute as this one!

A few years back, this hidden gem had such a sweet little story to go with the beauty of it.
Mamma never found out how it began, but there used to be over 50 trucks of all sorts of shapes and sizes, scattered all over the place.
There were ride on ones, diggers, sandpit dwellers - all sorts!

Sadly, now there only two left in the sandpit. Perhaps, one day the trucks will fill the park again?!

However, trucks aside - this is a lovely park, that has recently had an upgrade - which includes a fabulous water play area in the middle of the sandpit, as well as a fantastic nest swing that is under the shade of big leafy tree.

You will also find all the usual suspects; slides, swings, climbing structures, sandpit - and lots of wide open space to kick a footy.

This is one of Mamma's absolute favourites and we often frequent here for a lovely picnic lunch.

Mamma's special mention
Why not make your play a little sweeter and grab a takeaway milkshake and hand-made truffle from Hahndorf Chocolates on the way?
