dendy park south, dacey street, brighton east

If your kids love playing the floor is lava, this is a must visit!

That much-loved pink and green playground at Dendy Park South has erupted into something new — a volcano adventure zone! Little ones can now imagine they're dodging molten lava, escaping an erupting volcano, or exploring some sort of prehistoric, fire-and-stone landscape! Endless opportunities for adventuring and pretend play, which is exactly the kind of thing that keeps kids busy for hours.

They will love leaping between platforms, climbing the obstacles and jumping the mounds and rocks woven throughout, to stay out of the lava flowing below. And Mamma's heard there's more to come — a music ball is on its way, which will add eruption-style sound effects to the mix. So watch this space, because the volcano is only going to get louder and more fun!

Lots of the old park favourites are still there including — the big green slide, toddler climbing frame, rope bridges, swinging basket, all-abilities spinner, plus the real-life snakes and ladders game.

If the little ones want to switch gears after all that lava-dodging, hop on the bikes and scooters and follow the dirt track across the park to the other Dendy Park playground — a sandy wonderland that's perfect for the sandpit lovers in your crew.

Dendy Park South sits within the much larger Dendy Park, so there's plenty of grassy space to run wild, kick a ball around or lay out a picnic blanket.
