beaumaris bay fossils, beaumaris

Did you know that you can hunt for real life fossils, right here amongst the picturesque cliffs of Beaumaris? How cool is that! Now, they may not be Dinosaur fossils, but there is a very likely chance that you will discover a shark tooth fossil or whale bones!

Once you arrive at the site you will be greeted by a sign, letting you know what fossils to search for, which is super handy. The kids love to find something and then run up to the sign to see if they can match it up with a fossil!

Amongst all the cool looking fossils, you will also find a heap of shells to collect as well.
Don’t forget to bring a bag to collect all your goodies in, and while you’re at it, bring another to pick up any rubbish you might find and help out the environment, too!

Mamma's special mention:
After all your adventure, head down the road to the gorgeous Rickett’s Point Beachouse Cafe for some great food and drinks.
