Chicken Beach @ Cowes, Phillip Island

Here is the perfect location for your next family beach road trip! There’s something so peaceful about swimming in this clear, calm water; in one direction you have the jetty, another you have rolling hills and another are tall, shady pine trees! It’s pretty spectacular.

Mamma’s crew LOVE this beach, especially the name!
It has all the amenities you need here; toilets, showers, a picnic area on the hill above with shaded trees, and there’s even a tiny bit of shade on the sand if you’re lucky to grab the spot first!

The beach is at the end of the main street in Cowes, so you can easily take a break from swimming and hit one of the pubs or cafes for lunch, grab an ice-cream - or pick up some fish and chips to take back from the beach.
