sweetwater creek nature reserve, frankston

.This great nature reserve is perfect for a family adventure. There’s so much to explore! There are things to climb, bridges to cross, rocks to jump - there’s even a tree swing perched on top of a small hill on the creek bed. AND - the majority of the walk is pram friendly (there are some entry points and steeper points with staircases).
Your walk will take you through all sorts of flora and fauna, up hill and down hill, across boardwalks, over suspension bridges, past little waterfalls and rockpools, and offers some beautiful views. It can lead you right up to Port Phillip Bay - at the base of Oliver’s Hill. There are lots of seats scattered across the path, so you can rest and take in the tranquillity.
Keep your eyes and ears open, there are heaps of native birds and wildlife you can spot. You can’t beat the jolly laugh of the kookaburra!

Mamma's special mention:
Worked up an appetite? Head down to The Milkman for some yummy food.
