george pentland botanical gardens, frankston

This Mamma had no idea something so beautiful existed behind those cobblestone walls!

Sprawling green hills (perfect for rolling down), dozens of droopy, shady trees (perfect for picnicking under), a playground, a duck-filled lake and a walking track are all hidden in these tranquil botanic gardens.
Not to mention the many low-lying tree branches that are just paradise for all those little tree-climbing-lovers.

These gardens are a hidden oasis in the middle of Frankston - with plenty of space for kids to run around and explore - kick the footy - even a game of cricket!  Pack your picnic basket and prepare to spend a few hours relaxing in peace!
