endeavour fern gully rainforest walk, red hill

Did you know that we have a rainforest right here in the South?! Well, you do now! Mamma has let this little beauty out of the bag.
Hidden away off Arthurs Seat Road (you will need a GPS to find it or you wont know it is there) you will find a 2km loop of lush rainforest trail. Some of the walk is along a boardwalk, but most is following a dirt path. Therefore, it is not pram friendly. Some of the trail is quite narrow, and quite steep. But it is relatively short, so little legs should manage quite easily.

Along the trail you will be surrounded by the most beautiful fern trees and plants, background music of dozens of birdsongs and if you’re lucky, you may even spot some wildlife. Wallabies and wombats share these paths.
It is a truly spectacular spot, guaranteed to make you want to come back as soon you leave!

Mamma's special mention:
There’s so much to see and do in Red Hill. Depending on the season you can pick fruit at Sunnyridge Strawberry Farm or Ripe n Ready Cherry Farm. Grab some food at Nordie Cafe or Red Gum BBQ.
