What could be better than fresh air, stunning scenery and hunting for fossils by the beach-side? Mamma’s crew think it is the perfect way to spend a few hours.
This rocky foreshore is abundant with rocks and shells of all sizes, shapes and colours. There are two sections where you search for your goodies. If you follow the paved path to the left side, there’s some sand where the kids can sit and build a sandcastle. Also some large cliffs to climb. and plenty of rocks to collect.
If you follow the narrow, unpaved bush path to the right of the crapark, this is where you are likely to find your treasure. Hundreds of rocks with some hidden fossils underneath. It can be a little unstable, so little feet may need some assistance.
A bonus - this is also an off leash dog beach as well! Fun for the whole family!
